How I Use AI Here
Short version: yes, I use AI, and I want to be upfront about it. Writing is not my strongest skill, so I use it as a writing partner to turn my notes, code and findings into something readable. What I do not do anymore is publish anything generated end to end without reading it, testing it and standing behind it.
What AI helps with
- Turning my rough drafts and notes into clearer prose
- Grammar, structure and wording, since English is not my first language
- Writing and reviewing code with me, from PoCs to site tooling. I run and test all of it
- Diagrams, summaries and the odd analogy
What stays mine
- The topics, the research and the point of view
- Every exploit, lab and snippet is run by me before it ships
- Every line gets read and corrected before publishing
- Mistakes are mine. Report them and I fix them
The exception: old newsletters
The first phase of the newsletter, 66 weekly issues, was a different story. A large part of those was generated entirely with AI and published with little or no review. They stay online, clearly labelled, in the archive.
The goal is simple: better results than I would get alone, without pretending the machine did nothing or that it did everything. If a post reads well, that is the two of us. If it is wrong, that is on me.
